42 Day Vespa Ride for Kids with Cancer
In 2017 I decided to donate my entire holidays to a project for kids with cancer. I built myself a scooter for the trip based on a 125cc Vespa P200E from 1979. I added more power, a bigger tank and a custom design. I contacted clubs from the german speaking countries if they would be willing to host a small barbecue event to raise money for the german child cancer foundation and the response was enourmous. I planned a ride of 42 days including the Vespa Alp days in Zell am See and the Vespa World days in Celle. I covered a combined distance of 8900kms. Together with Vespa Scooter Clubs from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and Liechtenstein I was able to raise over 25.000€ in donations for the child cancer care foundation <3
